The tweets above are how Paul George decided to greet the world this morning. Astonishing, isn’t it?

Larry Bird was forced to issue a statement where he chastised George for the remarks.

Of course George promptly apologized and deleted the tweets.

No where in this video was Ray Rices life at stake from this attack. NO reason to hit your fiance or wife EVER. IF a big IF she had a knife at his throat or gun at his head, different story, that’s self defense. But that didn’t happen. NO reason to ever hit a woman.

  I’ve been reading posts by some retards defending his actions saying she “deserved” it for spitting and slapping him. Seriously? A woman a quarter of his size and a tenth of his muscle mass deserves to be knocked out and dragged by the hair? Obviously those posters were raised by knuckle-draggers, not raised in a civilized home.

As a proud father of a teenage daughter who is turning into a badass field hockey player, and as a HUMAN BEING, period, I think Rice’s action in that elevator was absolutely disgusting. Don’t ever hit or hurt women and children. EVER.

Feminazis can’t have it both ways here. Keep pushing the idea that men and women are totally equal in which case they have to accept that Rice’s wife was at fault here for instigating the whole thing, OR acknowledge that men and women are different and there’s nothing wrong with that. And perhaps we should embrace and celebrate those differences. You know, relax and enjoy ourselves a little bit. Not any of this “Men and women are totally equal except when…” BS.

I am so sick of this PC world we’re living in. We weren’t always like this. There were times when it was okay to open the door for women and flirt and make fun of each other over our differences and s#it. People used common sense to police themselves and those who crossed the line were often called out one way or another. Nowadays, however, we’re all up in eachother’s business 24/7 and we spend most of our days trying to get others to live the way we deem appropriate. Leave the Rice family alone. It’s nobody’s business but theirs. If the NFL thinks they should suspend or fire Ray Rice, fine. They have the right as an organization to do what is in their best interest. But don’t phucking turn this into a national “debate.”

We have much more pressing issues facing our nation.

  What does feminism have to do with a man hitting a woman? I for one teach my girls to NEVER allow themselves to be mistreated by a man – they are worth too much to be abused by a jerk. I see too many women who feel helpless and remain in a harmful situation due to fear. Comments like yours and people who believe “it’s nobody’s business but theirs” if a man hits a woman reflect a mentality from about fifty years ago and teach a woman to keep quiet about abuse. This poor woman is still defending her abuser. How sad that she doesn’t have the self esteem to say, Yes he’s a jerk, and I’m not going to allow myself to be treated that way anymore.

I’m not gonna pretend to understand the psychology of women beaters and the women who don’t press charges or at least leave them, but you have to figure that woman knew what Ray Rice was capable of. Judging from his actions immediately after knocking her unconscious, I would guess that’s not the first time he’s thrown a haymaker at her or another woman. Subsequent to this event, they got married. They are still together and presumably happy. After watching the full video from inside and outside the elevator, I think it’s fair to say they both have self-control issues. Ray Rice is a dangerous guy to be in a relationship with. She knows this. That’s a kind of love I just will never understand.

  Maybe his suspension and subsequent drop in income will compel her to leave in search of greener pastures. That would be quite telling in regards to the psychological understanding you and I both lack.

Ray Rice is a total piece of Sh*t! Its Amazing how people are debating if he should still be allowed to play in the NFL. Just proves how this country has two sets of rules when it comes to the Judiciary process. Rich verses Poor! If your local garbage man got caught on film in the same exact situation, he wouldnt have to waste a ‘Second’ wondering if he was going to keep his job…He wouldn’t have to because he’d be on his way to Prison for 7 to 10 years! FACT!
