The last 24 hours has been truly incredible. The turn up is real. I just got surprised left and right all day. It’s my birthday and we are gettin it in Vegas style. Thanks to my beautiful wife and all my great friends for settin it off. Oh and the cake!! #Vegas #34turns40

Whether you love or hate Ray Allen, you have to admit that’s one cool cake. Surprisingly, my disdain for #20 is starting to recede.

I always be thankful for this everlasting memory in the Celtics/Lakers rivalry.

For two guys who hated one another, Rondo and Ray sure played well together.

Memo to James Young, have the Celtics video guy put together clips of Ray Allen coming off screens and watch it on a loop for the rest of your professional career.

Ray Allen could go from deadly assassin to houdini in the same series, but have to appreciate his time with the Celtics overall.

Even though Rondo and Ray weren’t fond of each other I think more of it has to do with Danny constantly dangling Ray in trade rumors each year. That last minute cancel of the Memphis trade is what ended it for him.

If we won more than 1 championship all those guys would have stayed. It’s like what Jimmy Butler talked about regarding Derrick Rose on First Take, when you’re winning it’s all good. But yea I’ll forever be thankful for Banner 17 and that 2007-2012 era overall.

I’ve moved on from what Ray did to Celtics nation in 2012 and thank him dearly for all he’s done for the Celtics from 2007-2012.

Wow,… I guess I’ll be the only immature/un-classy voice concerning this post. “Are you guys kidding me!” Ray Allen is going to go down in Celtic History as one of the biggest Traitors of all time! He goes to our absolute most hated rival, & then literally hits “The Three” that wins Lebron his second championship. This guy is such a low life, I’m ashamed he ever wore a Celtic jersey in the first place. You want an example of what “Class” looks like you dont have to look far. Paul Pierce going to the Clippers and not the Lakers! “Hey Ray, this is what LOYALTY looks like… Now go choke on that Cake!”

He did the Celts a huge favor by rejecting us at age 37….it`s not like his departure has cost us any ring ceremonies.
