While this tweet couldn’t be more vague, I’d love to see Klay Thompson in Boston. He’s a phenomenal two-way player.

I’d guessing any deal would include a Brooklyn pick and Avery Bradley.

The big question is… why on earth would Golden State shake up their roster mid-season?

I hope everybody realizes that Avery is nine months *younger* than Klay, and is still clearly improving… Plus, who wants a guy who would ask to leave a winner for selfish reasons?

  Do we know that Klay wants out? And AB is a very good player, but he’s not nearly as explosive as Thompson and never will be.

    I guess I’m assuming Klay would only be available by his own choice. I also realize I may overvalue Avery because of the work he’s put in for the franchise. I realize he’ll never drop 37 in one quarter. But also, he costs less than half as much as Klay for this year and next, he’s a more disruptive defender, and if we send away a Nets pick that’s another low-cost, potentially high-impact player. I guess I’m just tired of seeing “AB + a pick” rumors…

      @chuckmckenney:disqus is right though. And if we get Klay, we already have the cap space, and then we’ll be able to re-sign him for more than anyone else.

There’s no way I would give a potential top 3 pick to a team that already has Steph Curry, Durant, and Draymond Green.

Wow. I think you have to make this trade if it’s for real. Avery is a very nice player. But Klay Thompson is special, and top 5 at his position. He would thrive in our offense too. ‘Catch and shoot’ ability is sorely lacking on our squad – Marcus shoots poorly and Avery prefers the one-dribble dip shot. Klay immediately rectifies that and IT would likely average 11 apg.
