“Every day I do it,” said Stevens, adding that he recently attended an Ohio State football practice while in the area for a wedding in hopes of gleaning some tips from Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer. “Coaches, educators, business leaders, whatever the case may be, I do it every day. Sometimes a little bit more time than others, but it’s every single day.
“Every time you turn on a film in college, or the NBA, you learn something about what other coaches are doing. I don’t think you can ever stop growing and learning. I think it’s really important.”
Time and again, the things that Stevens does differently from his peers stand out not because they’re so strange, but because they’re so common-sense that you’d think everybody would be doing this, and yet…

Pretty hard to quibble with IT’s irritation here.
As Jay King points out in a write-up on that tweet, Thomas was 16th in win shares last year, 19th in VORP (Value Over Replacement Player), and 28th in overall box score plus/minus.
But, hey, he’s short. So, you know, obviously he can’t be an elite basketball player.
