This deal makes sense if the Celtics think they can scoop up Willie Cauley-Stein or Myles Turner with the 9th pick. Unless… they plan on including 9 in some mega-deal with the Sixers.
As for Sullinger, I’d say his time here was a bit of a disappointment. Maybe if he gets in real shape, he can become a consistent force in this league.
