Not going to lie, I’m not going to miss Jeff Green. Dude just did not fit the Celtic mentality and it showed with his inconsistency. So glad he’s gone. Only wish we could have got better picks for him.

I feel like im one of the handful of Celtics fans who genuinely enjoyed Green. Watched every game in those highlights. He was one of the only players on the team to provide any excitement and highlights over the last few years.

      Actually considering how we were a top 5 offense prior to the Rondo trade (at least this season) it does.

  He WAS becoming more consistent this year. If we had kept Rondo, I would have hoped to keep Jeff too. Thought he had a chance to prove himself this year. Was on his way until that Rondo trade though. After that if was inevitable, and semi warranted.

    I felt like part of the problem if we kept Rondo was we NEEDED to keep Green. Hes the best option at the 3 for teams who dont have one of those top tier guys (and need to face them in the playoffs). Hes in the perfect situation in Memphis.

I can’t believe that none of his under-the-basket dunks made it to that video. Coming from the corner via the baseline and dunking from the other side of the basket was NASTY for Jeff.

Annnnd Danny’s biggest mistake is finally off of the roster. I like Green personally, but he is almost a symbol of the Celtics recent demise. Unfortunately for us Celtics fans, the Perk-Green trade will live in infamy.
