Avery Bradley drops 22 against the Raptors

Avery Bradley put in 22 points last night in a losing effort against the Raptors. Boston’s late run wasn’t enough as the C’s fell 116-109 in Toronto. 20 of Bradley’s points came in the first half. I missed last night’s game, but if I read the box score correctly, looks like AB didn’t play at all in the final quarter. Probably part of Stevens wanting to get some other guys minutes as well as get a look at them in “crunch time”.

YouTube user TK has the video for us. Celts are back at it tonight with a rematch against the Knicks. Tip-off is at 7:30pm EST.

It’s optimistic that anyone could consider that he didn’t play at the end for reasons other than “he was on the sideline icing his leg.”

But just so I can say something nice about AB, toward the beginning of the game Tyler Zeller hit the floor and was in the process of picking himself back up. AB came up behind him and signaled him to stay down until AB could pull him up, which he did. Good teammate.
