Celtkicks: Anta “Rondo I” detailed photos

As we saw last night, Rajon Rondo’s eight-year endorsement deal with Anta was finally made official. Check out some detailed, close-up pics of the Celtics point guards’ first signature shoe. They feature a partial mesh upper for breathability, Anta’s “auto arch” technology in the midfoot and a silhouette of Rajon on the tongue. Images via RenRen.

I actually like em. The mold looks like Lebron’s (i think the 6 or 7’s.) Surprised Rondo is finally ditching the lowtops.

  I was thinking that last night. Finally he’ll play in hightops every night. Just hope he doesn’t ask them to make him a lowtop version..lol

Those kicks do look pretty nice. Unfortunately I read that they will not be available in the US.

These are his PE versions. All the previous photos were of the retail version for China, but Rondo has upgraded materials and construction.
