While doing a live chat with his fans this weekend, KG spoke with Chinese media personality Yang Yi. Garnett spoke about how the 2009-10 Celtics were the funnest group of guys he played with, told a story about his last photo with Ray Allen and more. That 2010 team was hilarious. Even Rondo had some funny moments with those guys: being carried by Shaq, he and Nate Robinson pushing Shaq over, Nate begging for spare change at a fast-food restaurant, etc.
I’d love to see that picture he was talking about.

It was actually the 2010-2011 team KG was talking about.
I agree with KG as far as the 2010-11 Celtics roster being close and having chemistry. I still believe till this day, Ainge dropped the ball by trading Perk and Nate during the middle of the regular season. The Celtics had the best record in the east and second best in the league.
But Ainge went nuclear and traded Perk, Nate and a majority of the bench. End of story u know the rest, folks.
Was anybody watching the trade deadline show when Perk and Nate got traded? Kevin Mchale had that look on his face like “no, you guys have your info screwed up.”
