So my good friend over at NBA Musings hipped me to this clip of the Heat's player intros from last night.

Now I know it's their home opener and people are all hyped-up, but this is possibly the lamest thing I have ever seen. I mean, I'm really speechless.

I haven't confirmed this yet, but I think the guy who choreographed all of NSync's videos was behind it.

And that song sounds familiar. Where have I heard that?

“In The Air Tonight” by Phil Collins is the song for most of it. Don’t know the one starting at the very end of the clip though.

Quite possibly the worst intro ever….absolutely no energy from the announcer…it sounded like he was trying to be Ben Stein.

eh…kinda boring. I’m not riled up by it that much. Maybe the most annoying thing was the video where the starting 5 were all in suits, like they were in music video. I wonder what Carlos Arroyo or Joel Anthony will think when they’re cut or benched by the trading deadline.

I may be the only one but I thought the video looked sharp. It’s not Boston guys, it’s MIAMI. It was appropriate for the city the team’s in.
The spot light effect/intro was kinda cool, IMHO.
Anyways, I am looking forward to the C’s going there and beating them a second time with or w/o spotlights.
Did you see what happened to the Orlando Magic last night? A terrible case of performance anxiety.
