Doc Rivers: They got away with a ton of moving screens

Via ESPN Boston.com:

"I think it was a ton of moving screens they got away with," Rivers
said the day after the Celtics'
91-84 loss to the Lakers in Game 3 put the Celtics behind 2-1 in the
best-of-7 series. "As far as off-the-ball action … you are not allowed
to hold, you are not allowed to bump, and you are not allowed to impede
progress. I read that this morning, and I'm positive of it. So, you
know, when that happens it has to be called."

Rivers said he had
sent a tape to the league office documenting several instances in which
the Lakers were not called for moving screen violations, a type of
offensive foul. By his count, the Celtics were called for one such
violation and the Lakers none.

With the series nearly half over, I think it's safe to say the officiating will not change. We're going to see tightly called games from here on out. We can only pray it stays balanced.

The Celtics are called for at least one moving screen violation per game (KG, Perk and/or Glen Davis are the usual culprits). This has become the "holding call" of the NBA. You can call it on just about every play.

wow is this what its come down to again? I am trying to be rational here because as a Laker fan, I love this rivalry but didnt I see a post on this website after Game 2 that praised the Lakers for not complaining more about the officiating after a very questionable game 2?
Let’s keep in mind that both teams are close on the amount of total fouls and free throws taken. The fact of the matter is, is that at this point in the series, the refereeing has been horrendous on both sides and the difference in the games ahs been execution in the 4th quarter. Am I so wrong here?

I don’t understand why they don’t have the same three refs the entire Championship. Why do they rotate, It makes no sense.

I think its HILARIOUS that HE, the guy that coaches KG, Perkins, and Glen Davis, is complaining about other team’s illegal screens.
