When Dwight Howard starts having his free agent meetings on Friday he’ll seek a contract starting at $24 million a season according to a source.
Howard is expected to conduct his meetings in his hometown of Atlanta with the Hawks and the Boston Celtics having secured the first discussions with the center.
Yeah… no. I’m not into Dwight much to begin with (as you can hear in our latest Locked On Celtics podcast)… but I’m DEFINITELY not into Dwight on a contract that starts at $24 million a year. Though I see it from Dwight’s perspective… he’s got like a dozen kids to support, so he needs a lot of money.
