The Celtics are working out every basketball player under the sun to figure out who to draft, and no one can come to a consensus on who that third pick will be. We discuss that, whether the team should draft based on need vs. best player available, and we figure out the one question we’d ask a player if we were evaluating him.

Plus, should the Celtics pursue Kevin Love, could Isaiah Thomas get invited to Team USA, and what would it take to recruit a guy like Kevin Durant?

I think it’s a win-win situation with the 3rd pick. If Ingram somehow does not get picked before us due to Jamal Murray’s allegedly strong workouts, then we will get him. If not, we simply get Murray. I haven’t watched any NCAA this year but from what the net says he seems to be made of star material just as much as the other two kids.

You take the future big star player. Then worry about the make up of the team later. If Murray’s going to be a huge star, take him. Unless they think someone is better. Size is preferrable, but star power is more important. The C’s can go for size later in draft or possibly in free agency.
