Tyler Zeller had his best game all season last night, putting in 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Zeller logged 27 minutes, the most playing time he’s seen in what seems like ions, and helped lead Boston to a 97-89 win over the Knicks.

Our guy TK has you covered with Godzeller’s highlights, as well as those from Isaiah Thomas. IT dropped 20 on New York, and also dished out 8 assists.

Boston is back in action tonight when they face the Detroit Pistons back home at TD Garden. Tip-off is at 7:30pm EST.

I am a little surprised there are ZERO comments about Zell’s game last night. Is Stevens letting Zell rot at the end of the bench and doesn’t see the talent that is there? Which by the way is what Doc (VASTLY OVERRATED COACH!) did with Bradley for 1 1/2 yrs. Was last night a complete aberration?? I hope Zell gets 25+ mins tonight to see if he can do it 2 games in a row. At a minimum, maybe Danny can boost Zell’s trade value as I see a fire sale on the horizon!!!

  I feel very similar-there were many games recently where we were getting killed on the boards and/or relying on one three after another that I thought Zeller could’ve helped in. Yet Stevens seems to sometimes fall in love with the smallball approach. Don’t get me wrong, I love Brad and think he’s a great coach, but even with Amir sometimes I feel like certain guys are just under utilized. Oh well-I still trust Brad and love the direction he has this team going in….
