#Celtics have decided to waive G Phil Pressey, according to NBA source.

The Celtics had to make a decision today on Phil Pressey because his $947K contract was about to become guaranteed for the season. And with the addition of Terry Rozier, there just isn’t room on the roster for Pressey.

He may be undersized, but I think most Celtics fans agree the kid can play in this league. He just needs to continue working on the 3-point shot.

sorry for the kid. his greatest weaknesses are his limited size and his jump shot, but he’s got very good hands and passing skills. I hope some team pick him up. he deserves to play in this league.

I def liked that little fella…he had some sweet passes, and when he got “solid” playing time his turnovers were kept pretty minimal. I do hope he gets on another team, and his shot keeps improving. His size he can never change, but his shot he can def keep improving.

Solid player and I hope he makes it, but won’t lose sleep over this. There’s no room for him on this team. Plain and simple.
