Cue the Boogie speculation… George Karl says no one is “un-tradeable”

I’m just going to leave this right here…

“I’ve had some great players and I’ve never had one player that I have said is untradeable,” Karl added. “You always got to be ready for the possibility of a great trade that could come your way.

“I know I respect him (DeMarcus Cousins) a tremendous amount… I think our give and take and our communication has been almost on a daily basis… until we can really get to a special place together, I think we’ve got to continue to communicate, what he wants and what I want.”

… There’s a game tonight and playoffs are around the corner, so there’s a larger discussion to be had about the potential moves the Celtics can make this summer.

But….

The “great trade” Karl is hinting at could be a potential deal with the Boston Celtics, who’ve expressed interest in acquiring Cousins throughout the season. Karl gave his praise to Boogie, but clearly he’s not going to let one player dictate the future of his team.

The Celtics have picks, and they have players. They can certainly put a nice package together for a guy who, despite his frequent emotional outbursts, is a monster on the court.

Oh.. this summer will be very interesting.

I’d love Boogie in Green. Cant see the Kings moving him anytime soon though.

I just want to see DMC get coached by Brad Stevens. Maybe Brad can calm him down abit. i think we will be able to get atleast 1 big name this summer.

  DMC will definitely calm WAY down with Brad Stevens coaching him. Brad has such a stone cold calmness to him, even during tense moments in matches. It will definitely keep DMC chilled.

  I wonder what sort of package the Kings would be looking for. I suspect any deal with the Celtics will involve giving up Smart and I’m not certain enough about Cousins’ character (the “Brad Stevens Effect” or otherwise) that I’d be willing to move Smart for him.

Boogie and Karl are a terrible match. I don’t know where Boogie’s going, but he’s going somewhere.

Funny to think about IT and Boogie being on the Kings together and sucking. Now we’re all pumped at the prospect of bringing them together in Boston… That’s what I call the Brad Stevens factor

  Former Coach Smart (an ironic name if there ever was one, since he was an awful coach) had more to do with that situation than anything. IT was balling back then, but got very limited playing time. even when he would drop 20 with limited mins, he would be the 2nd PG off the bench after vasquez and towards the 2nd half of the season Smart started playing McCallum more than IT. It was asinine to watch. I was hoping Ainge would swoop in and rescue IT back then.
  
  Bottom line…McHale and Parish arent walking thru that door. Marc Gasol isnt walking thru that door. LaMarcus Aldridge isnt walking thru that door. This is our best chance of landing an All Star Center who is still young. You wont see another “Cousins” come up thru the NCAA ranks for a long long time. Hes a throwback kind of player. And if you have a chance to get him, DO IT!!

    I heard the lack of playing time for IT was due to his pending FA status. The Kings did not want to pay him what he was looking like he may command (he was averaging 20ppg for them, he was likely looking for a huge increase from the 600k or whatever it is that 60th picks get) so they played him less minutes (specifically down the stretch) to keep him from increasing his value.
    
    I was hoping they kept IT, but in typical Kings fashion they chose Collison over IT.

Boogie and Isaiah Thomas reportedly don’t like each other and didn’t play that well when they were on the same team….so why are we thinking this is going to be a successful plan?
