As the Rondo deal just became official, here’s a look at his last performance ever as a Celtic. In just over 32 minutes, Rondo put in 13 points, grabbed 7 boards and handed out 15 assists in a 109-92 win over Orlando. I’m personally still processing this whole thing, but overall just feel numb about it all.

  Unless it’s a new GM I don’t see that happening. Even if Rondo does the classy move of saying no hard feelings to Ainge, this was a definite a-hole move that anyone would remember.

    Yeah I think I need some time off from watching now that we’re blatantly tanking again.. In 2007 I watched almost every pointless game..but the difference between now and then is we had hope with Paul here and I didn’t have two beautiful kids then that I can give attention too. Plus I certainly won’t be going to anymore games any time soon after this fire sale.
    
    I feel DA is continuing to change the tradition that built the Celtics. Celtics don’t tank. I didn’t get to see the great Cousy play besides clips but I’m pretty sure Rondo is as close to a Cousy as I’m gonna get to see in my lifetime. Danny just traded that guy for a bunch of scrapes.

i really think this was his best game this season. He went at it pushing the pace and lurking in the paint.

Sorry if I sound flippant, but I can’t wait to watch this team suck ass for the rest of the year. This team is 10-20 games worse without their starting PG. Rajon has been one of the top guards in the league for the past 6-7 years – it’s absurd that Ainge doesn’t think he’s worth resigning. I’ll miss this guy – go Mavs

lots of Celtics fans are going to realize that they like rondo more than they like the Celtics in the next couple of days. I’m hearing people say left and right that they won’t watch the celtics anymore because Rondo is gone. I know it’s hard to rationalize all of your thoughts at the moment, but try thinking about this after taking some deeps breathes, and focus on the positives. if you are a big Rondo fan, think about how awesome it’s going to be watching him as a mav.

  As a rondo fan, you get so much of your favorite Rondo back. He stopped playing defense. But on a great team, that’ll probably come back to life.He was averaging almost 11 assists per game on a lottery team. That assist number will spike. His two bigs are Tyson Chandler and DIRK!!!! Holy moly omg that is going to be amazing to watch. He gets to consistently match up with Tony parker, Russell Westbrook, and Chris Paul. He’s going to be orchestrating the best and most interesting offense in the league. So if you’re a big Rondo fan, don’t you want to see him in a situation that makes watching him as fun as it can be? Why would you want to see him play on a lottery team? Cheer up buddies, this is a good thing.

When is rondo first game as a maverick? And does anyone know if you can have more than 2 favorite teams selected in nba league pass? Yea I’m a huge rondo fan

  If you have league pass, you have the option to watch any game thats playing.

    Yea but I want to see team update and schedule right on my dash, right now my fav is the Celtics and every single game they play is on my dash, I want the same with Dallas and Boston together

      You’re making me realize how out of touch with technology I am. I don’t know what a dash is. I bought league pass from my cable provider and I watch it on my tv. I guess you could google it.
