I was curious today and tried to
see if I could find player power rankings by position…tried to see how
Jordan Crawford measured up with the rest of the PGs of the
league…he’s still listed under SGs, but he’s coming in right now at #6
in the league for Player Efficiency Rating (PER)

and if you take his 19.8 PER and compare it to the PG list, he comes
in at #9 above names like Teague, Holiday, Westbrook, Walker

  Wow just filtered it to be the East….he’s #3 for SGs in the East and #2 for PGs in the East behind only John Wall.

Crawford deserves it. He’s been our best player the past few weeks other than Sully. Im glad his game has matured it makes watching him play that more pleasant.

I really hope that jordan Crawford and all the players from last year take the game against the clippers personal and beat the tar outta them. I would be pissed if my old coach left because he felt we were second rate players or not good enough to compete.

  Have you read the Jackie Mac piece on Doc? Pretty good write up but the part that stuck out was Doc saying he’s forever a Celtic. Wondering how other Celtics fans feel about that?

    I just read it that’s what got me mad docs a liar man he leaves the boston celtics for the clippers cause he feels there sub par players. Don’t like people who take the easy way out but I’m happy he I’d Stevens is ten times the coach doc is. In my mind doc is the reason the celts only got one title. Don’t forget who docs assistant was that year. Thibs is the reason there d was so great.

      I don’t want to sit here and bash doc cause i respect what he did for banner 18. But I agree were better off with Stevens and Doc is a quitter. Liar? I dont know hes good with media and will always try to make himself favorable. Either way hes gone and I couldnt be happier.

        He is a liar remember him saying the celtics are the greatest franchise in the world then saying the same thing about the lakers. He also said that it was Danny who wanted him out then he said he wanted to leave cause he didnt want a rebuild.

        I think hes a liar absolutely but its not like he’ll ever tell the 100% truth. You got Doc whos your teams head coach and will fill you with thoughts of championships and togetherness. you got media doc who will always try to make himself the good guy. Than you got the doc none of us truly know. The one who quit on the Celtics because we weren’t good enough and couldn’t go through a rebuild that he was on board for when he was paid $35 mill.

Guys what do you think about Rondo’s return? He isn’t as much of a shooting threat as Crawford, won’t that put more pressure on guys like AB and Green to carry the scoring? I’ve been going back and forth on this the past couple of weeks.

  I think you will be surprised at how much rondo will score he isn’t as good a three point shooter but he is very good mid range and gets easy buckets.

  Celts are undefeated when they have 19+ assists, and according to Brad Stevens rondo is “the most important player for the offense he’s trying to run”… So no, I’m not worried at all about his lack of a deep jumper

Please trade Rondo. He’s such an overrated stat padder. Did we all forget that he made 4 straight nba all defense teams and then all of a sudden just completely stopped playing defense last season? You guys are okay with that? Find a way to get a half decent return on him and I’m completely satisfied.
