Recap: Watching Paul Pierce play against the Celtics is STRANGE

The Celtics lost 82-80 to the Brooklyn Nets tonight.

I watched nearly all of this game (No way I could bail on the Red Sox) in a daze. Maybe I’ve had my fill of preseason basketball or maybe my brain had difficulty processing Paul Pierce in a Brooklyn Nets uniform.

It was freakin’ weird.

The Truth didn’t shoot particularly well (8 points on 1-6 FG), but he channeled one of his vintage “give the game what it needs” performances and delivered 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Kevin Garnett did not play.

As for analysis of the game, no one really gives a shit so I’m not going to bother.

  Ha, after writing that I went to Boston.com to get a game recap, and they didn’t even have it. It still had news from the last Knicks game up on their Celtics page. Now that is lazy.

Idk about you guys but I thought Jordan Crawford gave that game away. Nets went on a late 6-0 run after poor shot selections on his part. He did have some nice assists but the random shots need to stop. Maxwell summed it up best when he said, “That shot was brought to you by the letter “Y”.

Ya I wont ever get used to watching Paul in a different uniform. As far as the game, it shouldn’t have been as close as it was we played terrible.

Have to disagree. For the most part, we bust our asses to bring you folks the best coverage possible.
