Recap: Pierce, KG get aggressive in win over Bobcats

Recap: Pierce, KG get aggressive in win over Bobcats

Led by a super-charged Paul Pierce, the Celtics beat the Bobcats tonight, 102-95. Pierce (36 points, 10-20 FG, 15-18 FT, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks) played his best game of the season. He attacked the basket relentlessly.  Kevin Garnett (24 points, 10-20 FG) was also assertive with his offense. My favorite play of this game [...]

Enemy Chatter: Charlotte bloggers have eyes

Enemy Chatter: Charlotte bloggers have eyes

Here's a dose of 'enemy chatter' from Charlotte. …what really killed Boston was a lack of cohesiveness and effort. It looked like they had fixed this in the third quarter but they were roundly out-hustled [...]

Recap: The Celtics are dead

Recap: The Celtics are dead

I feel sorry for anyone who has tickets to the remaining regular season games. The Celtics have flat out quit. That's the only explanation for the pitiful performance we witnessed tonight. How the hell do you blow a 13-point lead to Charlotte? The mighty Bobcats rattled off a 16-0 run in the 4th quarter and [...]
