Louis Corbett and family say thank you

KWAPT July 6, 2014 Red's Army Multimedia 1 Comment

Back in March the Celtics and the city of Boston welcomed 12 year old Louis Corbett to their city. The team, it’s players, local businesses and the entire city made sure that Louis’ visit to Beantown would be memorable. Louis suffers from retinitis pigmentosa, a disease that causes blindness. Louis’ family wanted him to fill his “visual database” with some of his absolute favorite things before losing his sight. It was absolutely beautiful to watch the pure joy in this young man’s face as he met his Celtic heroes and had the trip of a lifetime.

Louis’ family posted this video today to their Facebook page with the following note:

HI everyone, here’s a wee movie to say ‘thank you, thank you, thank you…’. It’s a snapshot of the things we saw to fill Louis’ visual database but also the people who shared so much generosity and kindness with us. This wasn’t just a trip, it truly was life changing and not just for us.
