Reds Army presents Fan Friday #56 “Salt Lake Celtic”

KWAPT February 28, 2014 Fan Friday, Red's Army 2 Comments

unnamedThis week’s featured fan is a guy I’ve followed on Twitter for quite some time. Jared, aka @Benzfan33 represents CelticNation in the great state of Utah. We were both a bit pressed for time this past week, so below is an abbreviated version of Jared’s “Fan Friday” profile. Be sure to follow him on Twitter and also peep his photo gallery below-he had the opportunity to sit court side, dead center court, for last week’s Celtics-Jazz game.

Jared tells me that his father was a die-hard Boston Celtics fan and got him interested in the C’s at a young age. He was raised on names like Bird, DJ, McHale, Parish and Ainge. Larry Legend is his all-time favorite Celtic, mainly due to the fact that you could simply “never count him out“. His favorite moment in Celtics history is the worst-to-first championship by the 2008 squad and Boston’s never say die attitude is something he incorporates into his own life.

Big thanks to Jared for participating in Fan Friday, and thank you all for reading. GO CELTICS. -KWAPT

@KWAPT How are you going to email this post to us with Larry Bird highlights attached? I’m trying to meet a deadline, but instead I’m sitting here watching Larry Bird and Reggie Lewis give it to the Indiana Pacers in 1991. :’-(

Where’s @bill_nair? You don’t want to hear about 2010? KWAPT is making me think about Reggie Lewis. That’s basically like talking about the whole 1990s.
