A ton of the above against Miami and in the playoffs!! Rondo is amazing when it counts!

    Happy 28th birthday, Captain

I don’t think we will see much truly spectacular from him this season, maybe if we’re on national TV (I dont think we are for any?) he wants to tank as much as any of us.

number 28 by far my fav. But also 24. To add to what is already common knowledge, most of these clips were big time moments in big time games

Love me some Rondo but this is stupid. “On his 28th birthday,” at the end of the year (27) that is most players’ statistical peak, we want him to be our FUTURE? We’re not close to contending and he’s beginning the downside of his career. Danny should and will deal him this offseason if he gets a reasonable offer.

Peak years start from 26/27 and ends around 30/31.

That doesn’t change the fact that 27 is statistically the apex. You just defined “peak” more broadly.

That D. Fish block has to be my favorite, not only because of the block, because of Pierce’s touch pass to Rondo, and Rondo dribbling away like a boss.

My other favorite moments include: Whenever Rondo is on the court.

    I don’t know what is worse. A 28 yr old man wanting/having a family
birthday party (did he blow out the candles???!?!!) or the captain of an
NBA team not CLEARLY receiving or understanding if he had permission to
blow off a team flight. FACT: RR is not displaying the traits of a
leader. Quite an example for the younger players on the team. Does
this kind of behavior attract other free agents to Boston?? Doubt it.

The power struggle between Rondo and Ainge just entered a new level.

Lets see, Celtic captains: Havlicek, Bird, Lewis, Parish, Pierce, Rondo. Gee, which one doesn’t belong?
