Celtkicks: Bird’s Converse and much more at Hall of Fame Auction

58_6044A_lgEach September, Grey Flannel holds their annual “Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Auction”. This year marks it’s eighth such event, and there are some very special items up for bid. Grey Flannel always has some absolutely incredible & rare memorabilia, and this year is no different. Some of the items that are available include an Olympic gold medal won by Jerry Lucas at the 1960 games in Rome, an autographed warm-up suit worn by Tiny Archibald during the Celtics’ 1980-81 championship season and a game-used pair of Larry Bird’s Converse “Star Conquest Cons” from 1989. The black and white kicks are autographed by Bird and would be a sweet addition to any kicks fan’s collection.

You can check out more of the auction’s great items and find out how to bid on them over at Grey Flannel’s site.
