Two NBA sources told the Globe that the Celtics will open their 2013-14 season against the Toronto Raptors. The official NBA schedule is set to be released tonight at 6 p.m.

Ouch.

You want a reality check?  There it is.

In the Garnett era, the Celtics have opened against the Cavs (and LeBron James) twice, The Knicks (and Carmelo Anthony), and then Miami twice.

Now it’s a very non-marquee matchup against Toronto.  If you’re out of town and you want to see the Celtics, you’d better splurge on League Pass or get good at finding pirated online links, because you won’t see them much on national TV.

I don’t really care who they play, I’m just dying for some C’s basketball right now.

I’ve always done that second option there anyways so no change for me!

Good, let’s get these games against the Craptors out of the way early. I hate watching them play in toronto with those annoying 3D symbol on the baselines…

i know right! At first i thought those things were solid, but then i realized the players were stepping on them while driving to the rim.

Well, the GREAT thing about the new Wiggins or Bust era is that I won’t have to mortgage my house to see the C’s when they come to Lalaland. Hell, I might take the whole family!

    On a second thought…Nah.
