Hip pointer won’t keep KG out of Game 3

Chuck - Red's Army April 24, 2013 Celtics News, Kevin Garnett 6 Comments

Doc Rivers says Kevin Garnett suffered a hip pointer in Game 2 against the Knicks. See the video evidence above.

The injury will not prevent KG from practicing or playing in Game 3. Shocking.

As for why Jordan Crawford is playing significant minutes over Courtney Lee, Doc said:

“I think offensively he gives you a better shot at it.”

On the team’s effort:

At the end of the day, we can’t be outplayed in the other departments, in the desperation department.”

And being back in Boston:

“It feels like a month. It will be great to be home. And obviously this is extreme circumstances.”

Is it Friday yet?

hahaha classic Crawford shot in that clip there. I dont mind him playing a lot I just think the pitbulls need to be playing together when Smith is out there because any combo of NY guards + Smith is incredibly tough on AB/Pierce.

yeah but that would mean we’d be a DEFENSE FIRST team. and doc doesn’t believe in that. he used to, i think, long, long time ago. like, before we got crawford.

Umm where have you been. We held the arguably best offensive team in the league to under 88 points each game. I think now is the time for a little offense
