The Celtics put forth a listless effort in a 93-83 loss to Memphis in early January. Mike Conley and Tony Allen torched the Celtics for a combined 38 points.

How we see it goin’ down

The Grizzlies dominate at home. They’ve won 9 straight at FedEx Forum. Before you pencil in a 20-point blowout, know the Celtics have won 5 straight in Memphis.

With Marc Gasol and Z-Bo, Memphis is capable of inflicting a lot of damage on the boards. Before you concede the glass, know the lowly Hornets out-rebounded Memphis by 16 last night. (So you’re saying there’s a chance)

The Grizzlies are a suffocating defensive team (2nd in defensive efficiency, 1st in opponents ppg). If Courtney Lee can’t go (ankle), we might see more of Jordan Crawford and his crazy shooting.

All signs point to a Grizzlies blowout. But I’m going with Boston.

Call me crazy.

    Chuck, you crazy.

Only difference with the “lowly” Hornets is they have bigs that can rebound so……

    • Chulinho

I was thinking that very same thing…

  • Chulinho

At times the Grizzlies’ offense is more stagnant than the Celtics. Let’s hope for this particular scenario tonight..

Gasol & Randolph against our small & soft front line?

This will be a double-digit Memphis win.

  • Lee in Oregon

I hope Chuck’s right- this team has lost it’s attitude and needs a W asap.
