Carmelo Anthony acting like a punk… again

Here’s video of Carmelo Anthony slapping Spencer Hawes in the back of the head during last night’s game.

Melo didn’t even collect a technical for his cheap-shot slap.

What are the odds the league reviews the video and assessing Anthony a suspension, especially considering his pattern of behavior?

that dude is a bitch. straight up.

it was obviously KG’s fault. Last night from Portland he whispered in Melo’s ears something about an affair between Melo’s wife and Spencer Hawes.
How low will KG get??? The guy is ruining this lovely boys league ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

      Lol ๐Ÿ™‚

you know how certain players get the Star-treatment on fouls? Do the refs give them the same special treatment for altercations? Refs seem to look the other way or avoid an ejection, also copping out with the double T

Can you imagine if that was KG and Rondo out there instead of Melo and Chandler? I think the league would have sent the suspensions before the game was even over.

      • Astarot

Yeah that exactly what woud happen.

Back when the show PUNK’D was in its hay day, you got a great feel of what people were like in their real lives.

Youtube the Carmelo one and tell me he isn’t a complete A HOLE. Shaq also a dick. Timberlake a little girl.

Chandler did the same thing as Rondo did to Humphries, lets see if he gets the same one game suspension…

  • Astarot

He won’t get a suspension I’ll tell you if he’ll it will be like one game and should be much more “that’s creminal” – he shoud get flagrant 2 by the way. And Chendler should get one (suspension) too be I doubt it.

      Is that english?

  • JJy

Wow what a lil bitch. He’s like the perfect blend of unlikeable.

He’s a coward, like when he punched a Knick player as a Nugget and then ran away.
This sorry dude won’t ever win a ring though, never.

Who’s the moron ref on the baseline? He should have tossed Melo there and then – it doesn’t get any more flagrant than this. But hey, we have a ‘Melo might be MVP’-storyline to sell, so let’s swallow the whistle. And yeah, it is almost an exact copy of the Rondo-Humphries thing, so one should expect a suspension for, at least, Chandler, right? Right??
I generally do not believe in any officiating conspiracy in the NBA, but instances like this make it very hard to maintain that perspective – there’s just no way this ref accidentally ‘missed it’…

Lol I agree with you Melo should be ejected, but the idea of Melo being MVP is even more ridiculous than the ref’s reluctance to call anything. Not that I am implying you thought of it or agree with it, but it cracks me up so much everytime I hear melo deserves mvp consideration.

Amazing! No comments about the forearm to the throat Hawes gave to Melo right before the altercation.Hawes was the instigater and he should have been tossed. Celtic fans are becoming the biggest babies in the NBA. OK when their players do or say whatever but if anyone stands up to them the tears start flowing. A great organization with a lot of tradition has quickly become the armpit of the league thanks to some of their players and fans.

Chandler and Melo should get suspensions. For Chandler, 1 game although this could’ve been avoided if he would’ve just gotten T’d up or ejected during the game. Melo, 2 games. No question.

Maybe Hawes said that La La tastes like Fruit Loops.
