Last time

The Celtics beat Charlotte, 100-89, back in January. Rajon Rondo messed around and got a triple-double in the victory.

This time

Get it to:  Jeff Green

He’s the Celtics best all-around offensive option not named Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. And with those guys coming off heavy minutes last night, the Celtics are going to need Green to be uber-assertive.

Gotta stop: Kemba Walker

Explosive guard who can penetrate and inflict damage off the pick-and-roll. Make him and his teammates shoot jumpers. Charlotte has a meager 42% FG.

The Wild Card:  The Celtics state of mind and legs

Can we really expect much tonight from Paul Pierce (54 minutes) and Kevin Garnett (47 minutes) following last night’s triple-overtime victory over Denver? The guys are 6-6 on the 2nd night of back-to-backs, and 3-6 when the second game is on the road. And none of those games involved 3 OTs.

How we see it goin’ down

I’m not sure which way to go with this one. All signs point to a Celtics letdown game. But the Bobcats are a terrible team.

If the Celtics win, it will be ugly.

Celtics   84

Bobcats 83

A win is a win. I’ll take it, even if it is by a point.

  • eddysamson

I dont think itll be as close as you all might think. They tried way too hard to extend their streak last night just to drop it all to the damn Bobcats!

Time to throw in Fab for at least 20 minutes. It will just like playing against the Mad Ants.

  • LA Flake

I have a feeling PP and KG will come out strong and bury them early. I also expect Doc to play LB and Wilcox A LOT.

    PLAY HARD, BRANDON BASS!

  • Larry Legend

I don’t care if the Celtics win 50-49 as long as the win. Can’t throw away games like this.

  • Nate

I’m just worried about lazy TOs and front-rimmed shots. If we do those all game, its Charlotte’s to lose

  • Relja

I want Leandro, Fab and Brandon to kick their asses.

Beat the hottest team in the NBA … Then lose to the worst … Would anyone really be surprised?

You called it. Wow… our win streak comes to an end at the hands of the (11 & 39) Bobcats. WOW… Really? Most UP and DOWN Celtic season I can ever remember. I guess I have to be happy with last nights win, and hope Atlanta loses too.

  • Frank A

Thank God we won last night. I think the winning streak will give those tired legs a little energy.

  • Larry Legend

Lee, Terry, Green, LB, Wilcox, Bradley, Bass, Collins should be more than enough to win tonight. Period
