Celtkicks: KG kicks through the years

KWAPT February 5, 2013 CeltKicks, Kevin Garnett 8 Comments

As Kevin Garnett plays his 18th season in the NBA, many fans are taking time to look back on his storied career. Sneakerhead and KG fan LV, a regular over on Hoop China’s forums, has put together a fantastic gallery of KG’s kicks. Similar to last year’s “KG History of Kicks“, these pics tell the story of Garnett’s sneaker journey from rookie to future hall of famer. You’ll see kicks from his early years, like the And One KG low and Nike Air Garnett III, and up to his later years where he became the face of Adidas and rocked models like the TS Lightswitch. You’ll also get to see how he expressed love for fallen friend Kirby Puckett (which along with a tribute to Malik Sealy became staples of his signature kicks) and some extremely rare Adidas TS Commander made specially for each game of the 2008 NBA Finals.

Yes-it’s cool how each player has their own individual style, quirks & rituals.
