NBA unveils All Star uniforms

John - Red's Army (@RedsArmy_John) January 16, 2013 Around the NBA 4 Comments

adidas and the NBA unveiled this year’s All Star jerseys (likely to be worn by Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett if the voting stands)

Here’s what adidas says about them:

the uniforms take inspiration from Houston’s rich aeronautical history and the speed of the jet planes that dot its skies. The uniforms’ eye-catching impact camo pattern evokes the world’s fastest fleet of aircraft with the classic silhouette of a basketball net

Here are a few high-res shots of them.  What do you guys think?

Ha! It’s only camo because it’s in Texas.

If you ask me, Houston is better known for the oil industry and its hospitals. :)

Rondo and P2P to wear these.

I like em. I hope they aren’t skin-tight like they were last year. Everyone looked uncomfortable in the All Star uniforms last year.

Pfft…they always look the same now. Or rather, slight variations of the same.

Go back to the horrible cartoonish jerseys of the 90s. A light-hearted joke of a game deserves a light-hearted joke of a jersey.
