Legendary athlete…super clutch play/performance…turns playoff defeat into victory…team goes onto the Finals/Super Bowl…eventually falls short of winning the ring.
I’m sure everyone remembers exactly where they were and who they watched it with. The look on Walton’s face is absolutely priceless.
Bird was a great talent, with a great feel for the game. But the thing I always appreciated the most about him was he NEVER TOOK A POSSESSION OFF.
