Sasha Pavlovic's hot shooting propelled the Celtics to a 78-66 win over the Miami Heat. I repeat, Sasha Pavolvic's hot shooting propelled the Celtics to a victory.

Sasha had 12 of his 16 points in the 4th quarter as Boston outscored Miami 28-16. The C's scored more points in the 4th quarter than they did in the entire 1st half.

In case you were in a coma all day, you should know LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, Mickael Pietrus and Greg Stiemsma did not play.

This game was hideous, especially the 1st half. It was a turnover fest.

Paul Pierce had 8 points and 6 turnovers in 18 minutes. He should have taken the night off.

Marquis Daniels played with confidence and it showed – 13 points, 5 rebounds.

Sean Williams was active – 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks – but he's an adventure on offense.

Keyon Dooling suffered a cut under his right eye, courtesy an elbow rrom James Jones.

The Hawks also won tonight, but the Celtics can still secure home court in 1st round. They need to beat Milwaukee Thursday night and have Hawks lose to Dallas.

Box score

"That was one of the worst games I've had to witness. You guys should all shower to get the stink off of you." - Heat forward Shane Battier.

Closest I came all year to turning a game off..this game was brutal but brutal is what I expected tonight. Great to see Quis play well and see some flashes from JaJuan. Kid is so long & athletic-just rough around the edges. Once he’s a bit more polished could be a nice option off the bench. Nice to see Sasha play with some confidence. He still looks hesitant at times, but when he doesn’t think & just plays he’s solid. Can we just start the playoffs now?

Hard to watch Ryan Hollins “operate” in the paint, or take a 15 foot turnaround jumper, or try and catch a pass……hopefully the Steamah in enjoying his rest.

Despite how brutal this game was, there we’re some interesting numbers; like a 42-14 run mostly by the same 5 guys from the end of the bench who played the entire 4th. http://www.lucidsportsfan.com/2012_04_01_archive.html#5150873150738846373

Hollins has zero basketball skills other than being tall and athletic.

Yeah Hollins is alley-oop dunk or nothing.

Plenty of company from JJJ. Decided to keep watching to see if he would EVER make a positive play on the floor, and he finally deflected a shot and scored a basket.
I have ZERO idea what Ainge saw in him a year ago, and the fact Danny drafted him makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up for this summer’s upcoming draft.
