That ankle is not right. With Pietrus back, you might as well have Ray Allen sit for this entire three game stretch.

We can only hope Ray will be able to tough it out through the playoffs.

We can beat Toronto, Charlotte and Jersey without Ray. It’ll just be a matter of energy and fatigue for these guys-period. This is a smart move by Doc. I just really hope this is not something that will cause Ray to have to cut the season/playoffs short for surgery. One day at a time is all they can do I guess..

A good point from Sean Grande on Twitter was that our next game after Toronto being in Newark, it won’t be hard for Ray to join with the team if he’s ready to play.
All in all, the way the C’s have been able to get wins without Ray thanks to key contributions from Bradley and Pavlovic, as well as Pietrus’ come-back allows Doc to give him some time to overcome that setback.
