FanFriday #25 “Bleeding green in R.I.”

This week's featured fan is Hector from Providence, Rhode Island. Hector is not-only a fan of the GreenTeam, but he's also an avid collector of C's jerseys. He also has a nice selection of Sox, Patriots & Bruins gear. But don't take my word for it. Let the man himself tell you:

Hector has been a Celtics fan for about 10 years now. His fondest Celtics memory is when he attended his very first Celtics game. It was in 2008 vs the Portland Trailblazers at the Garden. Hector got to see an amazing performance by then first-year Celtic Ray Allen. SugarRay dropped 35 on Portland-26 of them all came in the 2nd-half. This was the inaugural season of the Big 3, and Hector remembers the "great atmosphere" at TD that night. The C's went on to win, 100-90, and Hector's first night at the Garden was a fantastic one…

Hector lists The Truth as his favorite Celtic, mostly because he stuck with the team through good & bad and was instrumental in them getting Banner17 in 2007-08. He's proud to be a Celtics fan because of the franchise's rich history and unmatched tradition. He embodies the whole "IAmaCeltic" mantra. Be sure to follow Hector on Twitter and thanks as always for reading. GO CELTICS!
