C’s will be at (mostly) full strength tonight

RedsArmyAdmin February 7, 2012 Uncategorized 3 Comments

So Brandon Bass is in… there's no surprise (or not so surprise) injury to Jermaine O'Neal…. Rajon Rondo hasn't had a setback… and Paul Pierce will not "rest" so he can pass Larry Bird against the Lakers.

All things considered, I think this is full strength for us.  I barely remember Keyon Dooling plays for this teamm and I'm not sure Marquis has done much to qualify as "playing" this year either.  So this is it.

Not sure what to make of Marquis..hurt? In Doc’s doghouse..? Going to the Garden tonight and looking forward to seeing Pierce reach another milestone barring an awful shooting-night. (knock on wood)

Always good to have the squad healthy and ready to go, but we need to continue to find blow for JJJ. His growth potential is too much to ignore and the more time he gets the faster he will progress. Maybe even play him at the 3 with KG/JO at the 5 and Bass at the 4? Five to ten meaningful minutes are much more educational than 10-15 of garbage time so hopefully they can work him in.

    When is Marquis ever healthy?
What exactly does Marquis contribute on those rare occasions when he is healthy?
