The Celtics thrashed the Raptors tonight, 100-64, in what may have been their best 48 minute performance of the season.

What was your favorite stat? The 30 assists? Only 10 turnovers? Or the dead-eye three point shooting (12-24)?

We shouldn't crow too much. The Raptors are an awful team. But it was refreshing to watch the Celtics dominate and never let up.

  • Rondo To KG

My favorite stat is the 11 points by JaJuan Johnson. Looks like Ainge had another great drafting year for the Celtics. Excited to see what the kid can do in more playing time.

  • Elliot

I agree all season I (and many others) have been wanting JJJ, today he got some decent minutes and he showed us all. Lets see more of him.

only thing I wish was that KG get the rebounds to join the 10k rebound club.

Great night at Garden. These fans deserved this. After sweating through 1 near collapse and 1 COMPLETE collapse to the Cavs, this was a relief. It also gave Doc some time to rest the starters. Thought JuJuan looked fantastic even though it was garbage time. If (knock on wood) KG ever went down, we know that at the very least this kid has great athleticism and can knockdown the short J. Was still disappointed in guys like Aaron Gray getting easy buckets, and more sloppy turnovers, but I’ll take a blowout win any day of the week.

My favorite stat is the W-L record and a blessing that’s self evident. In Rondo’s absence they’re now 6-2 with Bradley and E’Twaun. It all started in Washington when Doc decided to initiate the offense through the PG’s, but run the point of attack through Pierce.
Bradley needs a lot of work offensively, but he’s found a niche of moving without the ball and running the baseline, which is generating some easy buckets.
Moore had a difficult time getting the team into its sets that resulted in poor shot selections last night. But the game appears to be slowing down for both them. They’ve grow up over the past few weeks and could provide a spark in limited minutes.
At the very least it makes Dooling expendable. Teams like Indy (lost Hill to injury) could be on the market for a hybrid guard with an expiring contract. Perhaps it could yield a rebounder like Jeff Foster or Psycho T. But for now it certainly looks like we finally have legit scoring of the bench (Bass/Pietrus) and athleticism (AB/EM/Wilcox/JJ) to boot. They’re not knocking on the door yet, but there are reasons to be optimistic.

My favorite stat is that this team currently has the 2nd best defense in the league, only behind the 76ers. We are the only 2 teams that give up less than 90 a game. Celts are turning the corner baby. Knicks are going downnnn!
