I guess the league viewed the incident as a "push" and not a "choke." Because of KG's history, I was fully prepared for a suspension.

Don't underestimate the possibility of David Stern wanting Garnett on the court in Miami.

Good. I’m amazed they saw it the same way I did – a push to the neck and not a finger-locking choke. Whomever wrote the headline apparently still thinks otherwise.
