Your Morning Dump… Jeff Green is not suffering from iron deficiency

Chuck - Red's Army September 26, 2011 Uncategorized 2 Comments

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.

Jeff Green gave a great effort all game and was probably the difference when you consider EJ and Wall cancelling each other out. Green will not suffer from an iron deficiency with all of the dunks he had in this game. Seemed like he wanted to make the most of his trip out here as he was active from the opening tip and finished with 35 points and 12 rebounds.

An active and aggressive Jeff Green? Had to be an imposter.

For those watching the highlights, Green is #35 in blue.

This is the kind of Jeff Green we need to see if the season ever starts. We need him to have a breakout season if we want to have to have significant playoff success.

Agreed, Green needs to break-out, he hasnt really come close to that, especially in Boston. The problem is, once there’s actual games, guys will be playing actual defense, which they dont do in exhibition games. I’m looking at this strike as the first part of a “perfect storm” that allows the C’s to get one last ring outa this group. Shortened season leads to healthy guys with fresher legs. Would take alot more than just that to get far in the playoffs though, and Green turning the corner would be a big plus. Flat out though, the guy just needs to be more consistent.
