Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
So Paul Pierce's trip to China has ended. The good news is that he seemed to have a great time (judging by his tweets and the pictures and interviews I have seen/read). Pierce is adored by his Chinese fans and at times, he seemed just as joyous as them. He was very accessible, taking tons of pictures, signing autographs and answering questions.
Now the bad news. Paul's team, the Kentucky Bisons, did not fare as well as expected in the CBC. They finished in 3rd place, after beating the Beijing Ducks of the CBA 94 - 83 in the 3rd/4th place game. Paul played 14 minutes, shot 1 of 4 and finished with 3 points. Michael Beasley led the Bison's with 32 points and 11 boards. Stay-tuned to RedsArmy-we will be posting exclusive video of that game later today. The lowlight of the tourney was the Bisons' loss to the Cairns Taipans of Australia by 25 points.
On Page 2, more pics from Paul's trip and the rest of the links.
