Celtics Sneaker Madness: big upset!

KWAPT August 17, 2011 Uncategorized 3 Comments

In easily the biggest upset of the tourney, Ray Allen's Phase 23 away p.e. has defeated possibly the most iconic sneaker ever-the Air Jordan XI Space Jam. Ray's Jordan Phase 23 won with 66% of the votes. Now granted-I know that with summer here and more importantly the lockout in effect that our readership is down, but that is still a significant upset. Alot of sneaker "purists" may cry foul, but the readers have spoken! Now let's see if the home version gets as much love

#4 Rajon Rondo Hyperfuse high 2010 white

It was hard to find pics of these player edition Hyperfuse high. They were not released to the public and were an instant hit amongst C's fans/sneakerheads. They first appeared in the 2010 playoffs.

#22 Ray Allen AJ Phase 23 white

This Jordan Brand shoe has been a favorite thus far. The home version is white w/green accents and Ray's signature "Shootman" on the tongue. Ray 1st wore these when the C's met Miami in the playoffs last year.

That is total BS, lol. Jordan XI is one of the greatest sneaks ever. You have to factor in the fact that there is less local love for Nate these days.

if there is a season this year i think danny anige should put some serious thought into trading rondo jeff green big baby (sign and trade) our two first round picks next year and maybe jermiane for dwight howard. Both sides are happy as we get dwight whos leaving orlando anyway and orlando gets two young stars along with picks its a win win

I agree with you 110%. The Space Jam XI is one of the best sneakers ever made. I think people have to remember it’s the KICKS we are voting on-not the player.
