Lawrence Frank’s a finalist in Golden State

Via CSN Bay Area:

The Warriors have been purposely quiet about their head coaching search, so no wonder it's been tricky separating the frontrunners from the also-rans.

Mike Brown was considered a leading candidate, but then he took the Los Angeles Lakers head job. Dwane Casey, Lawrence Frank and Brian Shaw are now said to be on the Warriors' short list.

Put Mark Jackson on that list, too. He appears to be a finalist.

I think Frank is a good fit in Golden State.  They need to get a little more defense into that system.  This whole "give up 110 but try to score 111" thing isn't working.

But the fact that its taking this long makes me thing the Warriors would like to hurt a Western Conference team and poach Casey from Dallas.  With Mike Brown in LA, Shaw's probably gone anyway… so Casey would be the guy if that's the mindset.

I would, however, pitch in to get Mark Jackson out of the broadcast booth.
