Frank a finalist for the Rockets job

Frank and baby You know… lost in all the Doc news was the fact that Lawrence Frank was kind of brought in here as a possible replacement to slide into the head seat when Doc left.

But with Doc sticking around for about five years… Frank's gotta go somewhere else to be a head coach.  Turns out that somewhere else could be Houston.

According to sources close to the Rockets' situation, their extensive search for a Rick Adelman replacement has led to them to a finalists list of Dwane Casey (Dallas assistant and former Minnesota head coach), Lawrence Frank (Boston assistant and former New Jersey head coach) and Kevin McHale (former Minnesota general manager and head coach). Another round of interviews with the finalists is expected soon

I like Frank for that job.  But even if he doesn't get it, there is a good chance he's gone this summer.  There will be plenty of jobs and I'm sure Doc will give him a sterling recommendation.  Frank oversaw the C's defense… which was pretty good overall once again.  He can go in to a team and impart the knowledge learned from a defensive maniac like KG… and tell his players what it takes, attitude-wise, to really be a defensive monster.
