Rondo’s amazingly candid interview with Jackie MacMullan

Rondo slam pose 2 You rarely hear Rajon Rondo open up about anything.  But Jackie MacMullan is too good.  In her latest piece on Rajon Rondo, she got him to open up

"The guys kept saying it, but I had never struggled like that before in so many different ways. It was difficult, especially after playing at the level I did last year. There were expectations I had to meet.''

It's another great piece from Jackie Mac.  Rondo talks about Ray's frustrations with his lack of touches, how he feels the C's are a running team, how he feels he can't be stopped in transition, and a lot more.  It's worth a look.

  • Can’t really take a look because there’s no link to this article. 😉

  • Problem is Rondo stops himself in transition by blowing easy layups.

  • God I’m an idiot. Sorry. it’s fixed now

  • Really a great piece

  • Kudos to Jackie. Basketball is lucky to have her.
And it’s such a rarity to hear what’s on Rondo’s mind. It’s reassuring. He’s got his flaws, but I really, really like this kid.
