After each game, we'll be taking stock in each players… and maybe coach's… performance. If we like what we see, we're buyin'. If we don't, we're sellin'. Or maybe we'll just hold onto our stock until we see more next game
Avery Bradley: Yes, this was essentially a preseason game, but Avery Bradley put on a show. 20 points, 2 steals and a couple of nice dunks kept the Garden crowd happy. He won't see any time this postseason, so it's nice that he got a shot to do something in front of the home fans.
The Bench…er… starters… er…: The guys didn't just sit there on the bench and do nothing. After Bradley's steal-and-dunk, Paul Pierce was up out of his seat going nuts. Call me crazy, but that's setting an example to the rest of the guys out there. When you're on the Celtics bench, you show some support. Also, them sending Jeff Green out to address the crowd pregame was awesome. All tha stuff is about chemistry… and maybe the C's are rebuilding theirs.
The regular season. Na na NA na… na na NA na…. hey hey heyyyyy… goood BYE!!! Honestly, coming into this season I was afraid of another 54 game malaise. The fact that in only lasted a month and a half is great. I'm always a little sad when the regular season ends (well, not always… take 1997 or 1999, for example) but I'm very happy to be moving on to something more meaningful.
Shaquille O'Neal: I'm kinda sick of the non-committal updates from the team. I want to ban all questions or discussion about Shaq. I just want to watch these games and have him surprise me when he comes out for warmups. Until then, I'd like to put a hold on everything Shaq related. Of course, having said that, today is Celtics Day on WEEI and we'll no doubt have 15 updates on him on the site.
