Speaking at an event today Pierce was asked a few questions about the Knicks series and finale tomorrow. after calling the series "interesting", he said…
"I think it was good for the most part," Pierce said of resting against the Wizards. "Right now we're stuck in the third seed… going to see New York, so we don't want to show them all our cards on Wednesday, knowing that we have to play them in a playoff series. If I had to guess, I probably wouldn't play."
I'm all for this too. What good does playing tomorrow do? Take the rest, go hard in practice. There's no fear of getting rusty when you're going hard in practice.
I'm not gonna lie… thinking about Knicks-Celtics in a playoff series is getting me juiced up. Something about it feels very right. I'm starting to get amped.
