Taking Stock: C’s-Bobcats

Taking stock

After each game, we'll be taking stock in each players… and maybe coach's… performance.  If we like what we see, we're buyin'.  If we don't, we're sellin'.  Or maybe we'll just hold onto our stock until we see more next game

Buy Doc Rivers: Simply for having the balls to blast these guys publicly.  It's something he never does, which just goes to show the level of frustration.  This quote is great: “The worst thing I did was put the starters back in the game in the fourth quarter."  Let's hope they get the message.

Sell The Starting 5: I was going to list them all off one by one, but his is a group thing.  You know, I feel like making the finals last year was the worst thing that could happen to this year's team.  Now they think they can turn it off and be ok later.

I just don't get why this team doesn't understand that 25 good hard minutes of play against a team like Charlotte would have been more than enough.  Instead Ray Allen played 39 minutes.  I'm selling these guys until they wake up.  There's no more analysis needed.

Hold The bench: I'm not going to sell Delonte after a bad game.  But Lord knows he didn't play well.  Let's hope the bone chip in his ankle isn't the issue.  Jeff Green had 7 and 5 last night, but he was also a -7.  Still not sure about what we're going to get out of him.  And I don't know what's going on in Glen Davis' head.  I sold him after the last game… you can certainly keep him in that category too.

Yes, my level of frustration is still high.  I don't know if it will take the return of one or both of the O'Neals to get these guys playing well again.  All I know is that this is the same crap they pulled last year.  Doc might be right about it being for a different reason… but its the same crap.
