Doc Rivers: Shaquille O'Neal's hip is "locked up." Coach said team may want to avoid him taking 7-hour flight to Portland and back-to-backs.
Shaq might make it to LA for the Lakers game. We'll see. But this is the problem with a 38 year-old, 7'2", 350 pound (or whatever) center with a bum hip. This stuff is gonna happen. The good thing is that the playoffs give you travel time. Until then, we'll just have to deal with setbacks like this.
