Get out there and vote!

I don't want to point any fingers or anything… but… uh….

… some of y'all ain't voting enough.  Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett have lost their hold on All Star starting spots

Garnett now trails New York's Amare Stoudemire, while Rondo dipped behind Chicago's Derrick Rose. Check out the full balloting below:

Forwards: LeBron James (Mia) 1,518,807; Amar’e Stoudemire (NYK) 1,143,391; Kevin Garnett (Bos) 1,049,544; Paul Pierce (Bos) 578,473; Chris Bosh (Mia) 427,551; Carlos Boozer (Chi) 320,661; Josh Smith (Atl) 280,158; Danilo Gallinari (NYK) 259,619; Danny Granger (Ind) 201,653; Luol Deng (Chi) 191,312.

Guards: Dwyane Wade (Mia) 1,499,768; Derrick Rose (Chi) 1,225,575; Rajon Rondo (Bos) 1,171,311; Ray Allen (Bos) 630,588; John Wall (Was) 260,893; Brandon Jennings (Mil) 254,614; Raymond Felton (NYK) 246,208; Gilbert Arenas (Orl) 240,586; Jamal Crawford (Atl) 163,971, Darren Collison (Ind) 156,230.

Centers: Dwight Howard (Orl) 1,537,619; Shaquille O'Neal (Bos) 639,661; Joakim Noah (Chi) 291,107; Andrew Bogut (Mil) 245,253; Al Horford (Atl) 193,449; Roy Hibbert (Ind) 183,092; Andrea Bargnani (Tor) 162,364; Brook Lopez (NJ) 125,022; JaVale McGee (Was) 106,710; Ben Wallace (Det) 79,017.

Look… it's not big deal.  We've still got 10 days to right this wrong.  And I'm sure Kevin Garnett's return soon (right, Celtics?) will help.  So here's the link to go and vote.

Now vamanos!

  • I just voted myself and sent out a tweet urging others to as well. Come on folks!!! Get out there, vote, and post on your blogs, Twitters and Facbooks. We CAN’T let those Bulls fans push Rose ahead of our boy Rajon!! And I know NYC is huge, but we have to win that battle for KG too. Hopefully he or Anta puts something up on his blog-China has a gazillion NBA fans…

    Just did

I think we’re good now with Rondo. He’ll be amazing in next few games, cause he wants that starting place over Rose. At least I hope so.

  • IanD

don’t know how I missed that Big Baby’s real first name is Ronald…looking for my write-in and did a double take. HA

  • Ronald? Must be a typo..

  • Venus

Bulls fans are cheating. It’s on their realgm board easy guide to stuffing the ballot box and making deals with Knicks fans to vote in their guys.
It’s stupid. If I were Rose I’d be ashamed of my fans or maybe not. He did cheat on his SATs after all.
Whatever KG and Rondo will get in anyway. And Rondo is only going to get more popular. He’s certainly a more interesting player and personality than dumb as rocks Rose. He might get some competition from Wall but I expect he’ll eventually be popular enough that no amount of ballot stuffing will knock him out of the starting line-up.

  • Nora

Really pathetic tactics by NY and Bulls fans. Congrats your guys get to start not because they earned it but by you cheating. Something to be proud of…NOT.

  • paul

Oh, I think Rondo is the greater player, with far more potential, but let’s admit that Rose made a helluva case for himself and against Rondo just over a week ago. Rondo’s got some growing to do. Not to worry. Rondo will be remembered long after Rose is forgotten.

  • Couple things:
    1) My votes for the EC: All five Cs starters PLUS a write-in for Semih.
    2) Is it just me or does the pair of Kevin Martin/Tony Parker deserve to start over Kobe/CP3? Martin has reached another level offensively this season and Parker is leading West’s best. Kobe and CP3 aren’t having bad seasons, they just don’t seem like A-S vote-in seasons. But they’ll make the starting spots anyway just off of reputation.
    3) Both Conferences have a ridiculous amount of talented forwards to choose from.

  • Stan

The bandwagon Lakers fans don’t really give a damn. They just vote for Kobe blindly and urge their fellow fair weather friends to do the same.
I’m not taking this to heart because the All Star game is nothing but a SHOW.
