Shaq out again tonight

RedsArmyAdmin December 11, 2010 Uncategorized 7 Comments on Shaq out again tonight

Sherrod Blakely tweets:

Doc Rivers confirms that @the_real_shaq a definite no-go tonight vs. #Bobcats. Semih Erden will get 2nd straight start at center.

If you're not on Twitter, @the_real_shaq is Shaq's twitter name.

Semih started the Philly game, but still barely played 18 minutes… so he's in there simply because Doc likes subbing Glen Davis in after 6 minutes or so and then having him play with the second unit.  Baby will get the majority of minutes again.

Now if we can do something about Rondo playing 47 minutes… that'd be great.

  • Let the poor boy play, Doc. Semih’s got skills. Give a chance why don’t u?

You obviously didn’t watch the Philly game.

  • This will be a struggling ‘Cats team’s 2nd of a back-to-back. As long as we don’t let Mohammed get easy buckets in the paint and we somewhat contain S.Jackson & Wallace, I see no reason why we can’t make it 10 in a row tonight. It would be pretty cool if the C’s and Knicks both head into Wednesday’s game on a long win-streak..

Picture this, we win tonight, thats 10 in a row, and it will be without Shaq, then i expect Shaq back on Wednesday, then Jermaine should be back somtime this week also, i dont see us loosing one game again until maybe the end of this month, beginning of next month….. but we need to get through tonight… with the Magic steady loosing, thats giving us a big advantage in the East, and now i fully expect us to finish #1 in the EAST, i originally said #2 behind the HEAT… but i just dont see anybody beating us in these next few weeks, unlike the Magic, Heat, and Bulls, who are facing tough stretches coming up… Celtics should come out with some power force, build a big lead in the 1st, and let the 2nd unit handle the rest, cause we have a very good divisional game in MSG Wednesday !

Oh and we will only do this, if we play our ball, please dont underestimate the lesser teams : ) thank you…. p.s. Doc Rivers I would love to see Von Wafer get more minutes please…. he played a key role in that 2Q comeback on thursday… he looks real good to me right now!!!! Thanks again! #CelticNation!
